DALTON RESIDENCE - I have always been told never to work for family, but I never bought into that narrow thinking. This home was designed for my brother-in-law and has everything that they ever wanted in it. When they sold it years later they were glad they used me as the design equity was huge. After spending many years servicing the oil industry in Alberta, my in-laws made a decision to sell out and build their dream on the lake in the Okanagan. Loving traditional design, it was fun to layout this residence on their 100 foot wide lot. Everywhere you walk within the interior you seem to see the water. The resort like feel of this location and design are second to none. This project was a joy to work on, and then ultimately to play in, as I have spent many a night hanging out with family and friends there.
