EIDSE RESIDENCE - As a large multi-family contractor, Jim Eidse and his wife Terry had very specific ideas and needs for their dream home so they looked for a House Designer from Kelowna and found me. The site was terraced and had incredible potential for privacy areas for the Eidse's and their guests. As the driveway winds down through the treed site, the lake fornt seems hidden and a mystery. The home was laid out to feel hidden amongst the trees. The beach was perfect for this type of design, so we added a theme to the estate by making the dock reflect the style and character of the home. The house is "plumb-lined" with 3 roof vaults that perfectly peak in alignment. This concept allowed for the master bedroom, the living room, and the kitchen to anchor the core of the residence. As a walk out basement, the lower level is designed to serve all of their grandchildren's needs perfectly.
