JENSEN RESIDENCE - This Asian themed Kelowna house design was truly raised like the Phoenix from the ashes as it was rebuilt literally from the ashes of the Okanagan Mountain Park Fire that destroyed 243 homes in the city of Kelowna. As a subdivision home with neighbours on both sides, the concept needed to create central privacy from both sides yet maintain the powerful view corridor to Okanagan Lake. The home's exterior was decorated with hidden gutters concealed by wire brushed glulam beams. The layout was designed to honor the original home that burned to the ground but the final result was taken to a whole new level.
